Here are some words that our members have used to describe the experience: welcoming, safe, supportive, informative, mind-blowing, surrounded by others who understand, listening to others and hearing myself in their stories, finding my voice, family, sanctuary. We think that says it all!

Your progression through ARCS Online Video Lessons can be taken at your own pace, so it’s up to you!
The fastest that you can graduate is 9 months, and this time limit is mandated by the Certification Board to ensure thorough comprehension of Curriculum concepts and resultant preparedness for practice.
You will be working on your own personal healing as you’re also learning how to coach clients through this process, so we highly recommend that you enjoy your journey through our lessons and classes.
Beyond feeling that you have a gift and a calling to help, the basic requirements for CARC Certification are:

- live and attend from the United States
*ARCS is applying to go international by 2024-2025 - no legal history of a violent nature

If you have any questions about your legal history, register for your Free Online Workshop and ask your Coach to provide you with the Board’s evaluation process.
ARCS Mission is “to provide a pathway for both emotional and economic empowerment to all who seek it” so we provide grant funding and income opportunities to anyone who believes that our program can benefit them.
To be eligible for grant funding, you must first attend a Free Online Workshop because the Grant Board wants to ensure that this program is a fit for you.
Actively practicing Coaches must take an Ethics Review Course each year.
After you graduate, you can stay on our platform to share your wisdom with new members and earn income!
Graduates can earn 30% residual (roll over, week to week) commissions, which can build up to 6-figures.
Yes, CARC-I and CARC-II life coaching certifications are accredited by the National Board of Abuse-Recovery Professionals. This is a private board, which also provides ARCS Students with Grant Funding.
CARC Certification is valid anywhere within the United States, for private life coaching practice:
- contiguous 50 states, Alaska & Hawaii
- NO requirement to file for reciprocity, if you move from state to state.
- ARCS is applying to go international in 2024-2025
No. Many certifications and licenses (such as teaching or nursing) require re-testing and filing for “reciprocity” from state to state, but CARC Certification does not require this. You will be certified to practice anywhere within the United States, with no requirement to re-test or file for reciprocity of you move from one state to another.
Some of our students have acquired positions such as “treatment tech” or “assessment-intake counselor”, even prior to graduating, just by telling organizations about all of the information and skills that they are learning through the ARCS program. However, most of our students utilize these positions as a self-designed “internship” while they complete their studies, because they prefer both the scheduling and financial freedom available working from home after they graduate.
Many state-based programs are designed specifically to train for entry-level and other positions in government (i.e. state, federal) or insurance-sponsored facilities; whereas, CARC Life Coaching Certification is designed specifically for private, independent and specialized life coaching practice.
It is responsible and ethical that we require comprehensive training for individuals who wish to provide professional coaching services to the public.
Before 2016, only licensed therapists (Masters and PhD-level practitioners) were eligible for CARC Certification. When ARCS received requests that we make our program accessible for anyone who feels a calling to “heal & help others”, we listened!
