I began taking ARCS class when I was at the point of giving up on life.
My children had just got taken away by DCF, and I was in a deep depression. Just after
the first class, listening to my Professor and the other women in the class — I knew
that I was not alone, and my hope was restored.
This course has helped me in so many ways. I am so grateful for this Program.
Since starting this course, I have been reunified with 3 of my 4 children.
I am much happier, and I actually feel peace flow through my life.
I am able to identify as well as distance myself from toxic relationships that were
stopping me from being who I am meant to be.
My children are much happier — they sleep better, and I also teach them everything
that I have learned from ARCS.
My outlook on life experiences has changed for the better, and I can’t wait to continue
to see what life has in store for me and my family.
I also started writing a book about my journey.
I want to share how I am overcoming my depression, childhood sexual and
emotional abuse, and anxiety — with the help from ARCS and trauma-focused therapy.
I feel if I continue and don’t give up, I will be well-equipped to help so many
people that feel the same way that I felt. Thanks to ARCS, I will have the proper
skills to be that voice of hope and reason, for others.
The guidance that my Professor provides is remarkable, and I appreciate her and
ARCS for this Program.
